tag franchise ends 2014 with a bang, bringing in another new account
TORONTO, ON (December 16, 2014) – Country Style, the 50 year old Canadian coffee chain, has hired leading franchise marketing agency, tag franchise, formerly the adlib group, to lead its branding initiative. Country Style is one of 40 brands under MTY Food Group – a Canadian franchisor and operator of quick service restaurants including Extreme Pita, Jugo Juice, MR. SUB, Mucho Burrito, Sushi Shop and Thai Express,
Country Style has been serving customers quality coffee and baked goods since opening its first location in Toronto in 1963. As a comfortable, inviting brand with a solid business model – the franchise has grown to over 400 locations across Ontario, Atlantic and Western Canada and the menu has expanded to include a strong breakfast and lunch offering.
“It’s a welcome challenge to be the agency to lead a review of the Country Style brand and make strategic recommendations on how to translate its positive attributes into current times,” says Patti Laine. “This is a task our team has been recruited for before and has delivered great results. Our experience has driven us to create our ‘elevate’ model. This strategic process serves as our guide to ensuring every stakeholder is accounted for when developing a brand context for a franchise.”
“Country Style is pleased to have engaged the creative services of tag franchise to assist with a “refresh” of our brand,” says Peter Keating, Brand Vice President – Country Style at MTY Group. “We have been impressed with the work tag has executed for other brands in the MTY family and we look forward to working with Patti Laine and the team to see what strategic new ideas they can bring to the table.“
The new Country Style branding is expected to roll out in Q2 2015. Once approved, tag franchise will be releasing previews of the new look and feel.
