The theme for this year's Law Day is "Disrupting Franchising: Best Practices for Navigating the Changing Legal and Business Landscape". The Co-Chairs, together with the Law Day Committee, are developing a program that provides practical solutions to current legal issues in franchising, and specifically explores disruptive technologies, the role of innovation, the evolution of the franchise business model together with regulatory, consumer and market forces that are challenging established principles, behaviours and industry practices. This 2019 Law Day will delve into current and novel business and legal issues that are shaping the future of franchising.
"This was my first year in the CFA and my first CFA Franchise Law Day that I attended. It will most definitely NOT be my last. The amount of information presented by the various legal minds – you could not possibly buy that kind of knowledge anywhere and yet here it is under one roof in an easy to understand comprehensive forum."
