Heart To Home Meals Announces Customers’ Favourite Meals in 2018

Last year’s top two favourite meals switch places

(Brampton, December 3, 2018) The second annual report by Heart to Home Meals on its customers’ favourite meals found Hunter’s Chicken moved ahead of Fish & Chips during 2018.

Unlike in 2017, there was no room for any breakfast items as Pot Roast, Chicken a la King and Beef Stroganoff along with Turkey rounded out the Top 6.

Top 6 Meals in 2018:

  1. Hunter’s Chicken
  2. Fish & Chips
  3. Turkey with Cranberry Orange Sauce
  4. Traditional Pot Roast
  5. Chicken a la king
  6. Beef Stroganoff

The annual report from Heart to Home Meals is based on the total sales across the country. The meals are specially designed for seniors, Canada’s fastest growing demographic.

Heart to Home Meals Consultant Dietitian, Andrea Olynyk observed, “The Top 6 have something for everyone and reflects the wide tastes and dietary needs of seniors. The Hunter’s Choice is one of the best on the menu for people wanting a high protein, low fat meal.  And when it comes to Beef Stroganoff, top marks for iron content which is frequently a mineral of deficiency in seniors. Interestingly, all the meals are good sources of fibre suggesting customers are taking their food selections seriously.”

The President of Heart to Home Meals, Nigel Richards, said: “Offering great-tasting meals that cater for a variety of dietary needs is reflected in the growth of Heart to Home Meals.  We are committed to making the whole experience (from ordering a meal to eating it) as convenient as possible for our customers.”
