Hand & Stone Massage Spa Canada Corporation continues its growth with the opening of another three locations – one in Toronto in the Beaches area, the second in Brampton in the Trinity Common area and our third location in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – our first out of province spa!
The Spa in located in southeastern part of Saskatoon opened June 19, in a brand new retail mall with high drive-by traffic counts and great visibility. Andrew Chandra joins Hand & Stone Saskatoon with extensive experience in the health and wellness sector. He continues to be involved in personal training and in the fitness industry working with a local athletics club in Saskatoon as Head of Personal Training. Andrew has a Masters in Physiology from the University of Saskatchewan which will surely help him, help his clients. With his belief in “taking care of oneself”, Andrew is looking forward to converting his personal training clients into loyal Hand & Stone massage and facial clients.

Carolyn Scharf joins Hand & Stone in the Beaches with over 25 years in the advertising industry. Most recently Carolyn was the Brand Group Director with Cossette, an innovative marketing and communications agency and was responsible for the leadership of the MacDonald’s Restaurants account. Having been in the ad industry for so long, Carolyn decided to make a change to ownership and was attracted to the Spa Industry specifically with its focus on health and wellness and with the aging demographics. Carolyn opened the doors in the Beaches on July 24.

The 25th Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa location, owned by Sandra Mather and Steve Simic, opened September 18 in Brampton at the Trinity Common Plaza, a busy retail complex.
Sandra joins Hand & Stone from a background in the grocery industry, most recently working with Loblaw Companies Ltd. in the role of Senior IT Support Analyst. Steve is currently also working with Loblaw as the Senior Manager – IT Support. Sandra and Steve both have excellent experience working within a team atmosphere and with customer service which will provide them a huge advantage as they grow their Spa. Sandra will be running the Spa on a full time basis with after-hours help from Steve.
