Fix Auto Team Celebrates 20 Years of CCIF in Toronto

The Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) turns 20 years old and the Fix Auto team is there to show support of this important, longstanding industry event.

TORONTO (Ontario), February 1, 2019 – Over 50 Fix Auto representatives, joined by delegates from all over the collision industry, attended the Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) held on January 25th in Toronto. The Toronto Forum also included the Showcase: Cars and Technology Showroom where supply partners exhibited their latest and greatest products and services specifically designed for the collision repair industry.

Each Forum focusses on three pillars: Profitability, People and Vehicle Technology with informative presentations from industry leaders and interactive panel discussions including various industry stakeholders. With an eye on advancing the industry, the CCIF pillars align well with those of Fix Auto. In addition, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the CCIF, an Anniversary Gala was held which was a sold out event.

“CCIF has played a very important role on our industry for the past 20 years and our team was proud to be a part of their celebration in Toronto,” said Daryll O’Keefe, Fix Automotive Network General Manager for Ontario & Manitoba. “Each Forum held across the country allows our team the opportunity to network with our industry partners and share best practices, ideas and opinions.”

The packed agenda included a panel discussion on the profitability of accreditation and certification programs, which included Andrew Neufeld, Fix Auto National Director of Operations, and presentations about vehicle technology and collision repair trends, autonomous vehicles and an overview of the Canadian automotive market.

O’Keefe concludes, “Congratulations to the CCIF team on 20 fantastic years; we’re looking forward to continuing our support and gaining valuable insights into this evolving industry.”
