A New Twist on a Classic Treat

Baskin-Robbins introduces Cookies ‘n Caramel as the March Flavour of the Month

TORONTO, ON, March 6, 2017 – Baskin-Robbins Canada reinvents the classic Cookies ‘n Cream treat with the introduction of Cookies ‘n Caramel as March’s Flavour of the Month. This combination features a salty caramel ice cream with crushed OREO® cookie pieces and is topped off with a sweet caramel swirl.  Coincidentally on this day, more than 100 years ago, the first OREO cookie was sold in North-America.

“Our flavour experts are always on the lookout for something new and different,” said Baskin-Robbins Canada representative, Natalie Joseph. “We sometimes find that a classic can be given a new twist – in this case a literal caramel twist – and happily surprise the palate.”

Also new to Baskin-Robbins this month is the Bunny Stripe Cake. Topped with a sweet chocolate bunny, customizable cake and ice cream layers, this treat will please the whole family no matter the occasion.

“Spring celebrations have never looked so cute,” said Joseph. “Whether you’re welcoming the beginning of Spring, hosting an Easter get-together, or for any event this month, it’s the perfect treat for all festivities.”

Cookies ‘n Caramel is available for a limited time only for the month of March. For more information about Baskin-Robbins Canada and its varieties of ice cream flavours and frozen desserts, visit www.baskinrobbins.ca or follow the company on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
