If you are already CFE accredited or are currently pursuing your CFE through the IFA, participation credits from the CFA’s COVID-19 webinars will be applied through the IFA.
What is the CFE Program? An initiative of the International Franchise Association (IFA), the CFE certification program provides additional knowledge and tools for franchise brands to grow and thrive. CFE “students” who complete the program will receive the CFE certification, conferring strong credibility in their franchising expertise. The CFE designation exemplifies a commitment and passion for franchising and the franchising community.

Provincial governments are beginning to re-open businesses to the public. While some essential businesses have remained fully open or with modified operations, others are beginning the process of planning re-opening and will have many important factors to consider as they do so. Whether you are a bricks and mortar or mobile franchise, there are a number of considerations and possible adjustments you may need to make before resuming business and engaging with customers.
This session is important to all franchisees as they navigate re-opening their franchise business while maintaining the essential health and safety standards for their employees and their customers.
It will cover important considerations and preparations when re-opening your location, addressing the following questions: What changes do you need to make to your standard operating procedures? How do you communicate these changes to your franchisees/employees? How do you communicate changes to your customers? How do you ensure customers are complying with these changes? It will also explore how to maintain health and safety requirements across different locations with different restrictions in place, and how to manage staffing challenges, including staffing solutions to maintain physical distancing and how to ensure staff are comfortable with any changes.
