(Toronto, ON) May 11, 2010… The Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) announced the appointment of Graham Cooke as the new Chair of the CFA Board of Directors and the election of two new members to its Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting held on May 4, 2010.Graham Cooke, Vice President of New Restaurant Expansion, A&W Food Services of Canada most recently served as CFA’s First Vice-Chair. As a respected leader in the franchise industry, Mr. Cooke brings significant experience and expertise in franchising, franchise operations and management.
The Association also elected Ash Vasdani, National Director of Franchising, McDonald’s Restaurants Canada as First Vice-Chair and Ken LeBlanc, CEO and Co-Founder, PropertyGuys.com as Second Vice-Chair.
New members of the CFA Board of Directors include:
- Michel Gagnon, Director, Franchise Development, Yves Rocher
- Rainer Mueller, Vice President, Development, Cora Franchise Group
